SecondBrain is a free AI prompt generator and prompt optimizer. It's built for people who use AI tools every day and want clearer, more reusable prompts without learning a new framework or memorizing acronyms.
What we build
SecondBrain is two tools in one. The prompt generator turns a rough idea into a structured prompt — interrogating you for goal, audience, context, constraints, and output format before producing the final instruction set. The prompt optimizer takes a rough prompt you already wrote, fixes the broken clause, and shows you exactly what changed. Both tools are free on the web and also available as a Chrome extension that runs inside the AI chatbots you already use.
What we believe about prompts
Better AI output rarely comes from longer prompts. It comes from clearer requirements: a sharper objective, fewer conflicting instructions, a defined output shape, and constraints the model can actually follow. We don't believe in personality hacks like "act as a world-class expert" — recent benchmarks show those tricks can hurt performance on real reasoning tasks. We believe in structure, brevity, and reuse.
Why we built it
People who get value out of AI tools tend to do the same thing: they keep refining one or two prompts until they work, then run them again and again. The rest of us rewrite from scratch every time. SecondBrain captures that operational habit — interrogate, structure, validate, save — so the prompts that work for you become reusable assets instead of one-off experiments.
Where it works
SecondBrain is designed for the major AI chatbots: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Meta AI, DeepSeek, Perplexity, and Copilot. The structured prompts it produces are model-agnostic by design — the same prompt contract should work across providers.
