Accepting these terms

By accessing, installing, or using SecondBrain, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you use SecondBrain for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept them for that organization.

Using SecondBrain

You may use SecondBrain to create, refine, organize, and save prompts for legitimate, lawful purposes. Please use the service responsibly and do not interfere with its security, availability, or other users' access.

Your content and choices

You are responsible for the prompts and other material you choose to submit, save, or use. Please make sure you have the necessary rights and permissions before sharing content with SecondBrain or a chatbot service. Our information practices are explained in the Privacy Policy.

AI-assisted output

SecondBrain helps structure and optimize prompts; it does not replace your judgment. AI-generated material can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other important decisions.

Third-party chatbot services

SecondBrain may be used with independent chatbot websites that you choose to access. Those services have their own accounts, product rules, terms, and privacy practices. They are not operated by SecondBrain, and their terms apply separately to your use of their services.

If you use another chatbot service with the extension, please review that provider's current terms and privacy policy before using its service.

Fair and safe use

Do not use SecondBrain to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute harmful code, misrepresent generated material as verified fact, or attempt to bypass service limits or protections. Do not use it to create or support abuse, fraud, harassment, or other harmful activity.

Availability and improvements

We work to keep SecondBrain dependable and improve it over time. We may update features, providers, compatibility, or service limits when reasonably needed to maintain, improve, secure, or comply with requirements for the service. We may also temporarily limit availability for maintenance or operational reasons.

Our materials and your feedback

SecondBrain's software, design, branding, and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We welcome feedback. If you share it, you allow us to use it to improve SecondBrain without an obligation to compensate you.

Service expectations

SecondBrain is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise that every feature, integration, or AI output will always be available or fit every use case. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Ending use or changing these terms

You may stop using SecondBrain at any time. We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or legal rights, or when these terms are materially breached. We may update these terms as SecondBrain evolves; we will post the revised version here with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
